Lukács Márton Örs is a pianist/keyboardist, composer and music producer from Miercurea-Ciuc, Romania. He started learning the piano at age 5, and had a classical music education at the local high school of arts. From 2019, he studied jazz composition at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, graduating in 2023. Also in this year, he won 1st prize at the Langnau Jazz Nights International Piano Competition. He was a founding member of the jazz-fusion band Ineffable, with whom they released two albums, and played with Grammy award-winning pianist Bill Laurance, among others. As a composer he published two collections of piano pieces and a string quartet via Universal Edition (Vienna). In his own projects (solo, Live Set and Trio), he explores different and unique possibilities of modern jazz and the fusion of the different genres of music he is working in.

Lukács Márton started working on his first solo jazztronica album in 2021, that was released as “Morph” in 2022 after a series of live session videos. In this project he blurs the lines between modern jazz and electronic music production, creating unique synthesised sounds, grooves and textures around piano and keyboard improvisation. For live performances, he is joined by a friend also from Romania and based in Budapest, drummer Debreci Norbert. He brings a versatile style of drumming, being experienced in many genres.
